At Sacred Heart we follow the Twinkl phonics programme, a DfE validated scheme that is  full of hands-on, fun activities that help the children to  grasp the concepts and keeps them wanting to learn more.

The curriculum progression map below outlines the knowledge and skills obtained throughout our phonics programme, while the tracking document identifies the end of year expectations for children within Reception and KS1.
